Government Efficiency
Seems to me that the Liberals try really hard to show some rationalization to their actions. They try to make themselves believe what they want for this country is just. As many Americans do, those politicians on the left want mother government to be the answer to all our problems. The politicians on the left want really really hard to believe government is efficient. ( Hey, nothing wrong with a little positivity) I just don’t see any basis for this claim .
The state of Rhode Island cant even function properly in this unemployment crisis. Unemployment here lowered from 12.9 to 12.7, but my state is having trouble meeting our needs for our benefits. Try calling an office. I promise you, you will get a busy signal for the next three weeks trying to get through.
I think the people are a little tired of the run around. I think the people would be able to rest much easier if Rhode Island straightened up it’s act, and maybe moved a little quicker? Life is tough for the one’s caught in this cycle of crap. Can’t find a job and can’t finish the claim to collect on a regular basis. Can’t finish the claim, and can’t accept the great benefits that go along with unemployment. I.E. free tuition and a steady paycheck every week.
Oh, but I hear bonuses are going to be available for some big buisness fat cats, when, May?
Good luck to every Rhode Islander who is struggling. I feel you.

So this is what Unemployment feels like.

My states unemployment is at 12.9 right now. I wouldn’t even care except I just got laid off of work. It was nothing I did; the business just wasn’t making it. I knew the layoffs were coming and I did my best to mentally prepare for my loss. The end finally came and it left me in tears, but hey it is what it is.
It is said, my states unemployment number won’t go down until 2012. Well, I know that to be the date for the new Administration. So am I supposed to think our unemployment is high because of the current Administration?
Who do you blame for the mess our economy is in? Do you blame the war? Do you blame the Liberal’s in power? Do you blame the Elite for moving their money else where? I am done blaming the idiots in the spot light. Those who take the blame are paid to take the blame. The same way our soldiers get paid to die for our country. Those in the spot light get paid to take the blame for someone else’s decisions. I would like to know who that someone else is. I would like to know why he is sacrificing our country’s potential. Over the years there has been speculation on whom the secret power is. Is it the Free Mason’s or perhaps the Illuminati? Could the real super power be the European Union?
I only ask because the men taking the blame for our economy right now absolutely SUCK at their job. They offer the American people no comfort. They are not truthful with us, nor do they let us know what America’s real goal is.
I feel like I was born to slave for government. To spend what short life I have received compared to the time of times itself… I am supposed to pay my taxes to support these idiot men and women in power. Yet when shit hits the roof, and Unemployment is at 12.9…what the hell are these men and women doing for US???

Just because the Devil wants to tempt you, does not mean you should let him
and just because our government wants to “mother” us, doesn’t mean we should willingly give up our rights and our freedoms. I am saddened to say this country is turning into a collection of victims. Victims of circumstances is what we are. Let me explain what I mean by this. American’s tend to live their lives, not within their means, but by the grace of credit. Their education has become less and less and it almost seems that every “entitled” little snob has their hand out asking for more.
I want to share a little about myself right now. I am about to loose my job, and even though Unemployment goes against everything I stand for I may have to take it. I have talked to many people about being unemployed. My question is, ” Should I find a crapy little job somewhere? Sacrifice my money for the sake of working? Or should I take the unemployment?” Every single person has said to take the unemployment. This is the mentality I do not like to be around. People seem so eager to take from Government.
This my friend, is a deadly move.
Living in a democratic free country is a heavy burden to bare. To always be the worker bee and never stop is tiring on the soul; but in the end, the rewards are so great. I give my kudos to you, who do this every day. I give my kudos to those of you who work so hard, you are forced to help out those with their hands out. But in the process of American life, within the noisy bee hive, you get distracted and make a deal with the devil. His name is Credit. Don’t get me wrong, credit is just another piece of our system, and I admire it…but.
It seems a bit misguided to be living with so many penalty charges and interest rates, unless you can afford that kind of thing. But many of us forget there is so much more to life than just “slaving” away for the giant corporation. There is so much more to look forward to than the nicest car or the biggest home. Yes, those two things equal the American dream, but it seems so desolate to see more and more people dig themselves in a hole they may never get out of.
Which brings my attention to “Mother government.” Even if you yourself can never climb your way out of the hole, there is still assistance from various handouts and programs. I don’t know if I am stretching this a little, but it seems the more rules, regulations and programs The government lays forth; the American people have no way to prosper or move ahead. It is kind of aggravating to be worrying about my own personal life, turn around and have to worry about my government’s stupidity also.
Are we allowing the government to shadow our live like a mother? Are we allowing too man handouts to be given to us…too many new policies to be written for us? Are we allowing our rights to be taken away…simply because we do not fight for them? It seems we have an epidemic. We have spoiled and entitled little children running about with their hands out, ruining everything for the people like you and me, who just want to be left alone. We just want to be left to our independent little selves…
